Hebei Acrobatic Troupe was established in the 1970s, and it is a province-level professional acrobatic troupe and it has been developed to be a world-famed and large-scale acrobatic troupe up till now. Its main strength is formed of the professional youth acrobats, and every old acrobat has the task of training the new to the top-quality acrobat. At present there are more than 130 professional acrobatic artists and all kinds of relative staffs.
Hebei Acrobatics has a long history of more than 2,000 years. Hebei Acrobatic Troupe makes full use of the modern technique as well as its deep art foundation and traditional unique skills, adding the brand-new performing style to make the performances be full of modern relish. Under the direction of the conception -"glory in the prosperity of the troupe and shame in the degeneration of it", the acrobatic artists are keeping on creating superior and excellent acrobatic masterpieces with new styles, high skills and elegant presentations. Such as: Lion Dance, Head Skills on a Free-Stand Ladder, the Sacred Jar-Juggling, Meteors, Hoops Diving, Diabolo, Foot Juggling with Kids, Flying Phoenix—Collective Bicycle Skills and the grand acrobatic Theme show Hometown, A Journey to Hometown,etc.. The novelty, flowing style and the difficult, unique skills show the fearless to difficulty and the spirit of creativeness of Chinese young generation. The performances are in great harmony with choreography, music, costumes and lighting effects. These programs won innumerable prizes at the contests both at home and abroad.
For years since its founding, Hebei Acrobatic Troupe has done performances in almost all the domestic cities and has visited more than 60 countries and regions. It is the real ambassador in the international cultural exchange.
